GENERAL

The game is played by two players. During the game players has to hit the ball onto the front wall. However it can also touches the two walls at the side or even the ceiling of the court if it touches the front wall as well. The ball cannot be hit directly to the glass. The ball rebounds from the front wall has to be hit back directly or after one bounce. The game starts with serving. During the game the players can hit the ball directly, or after one bounce. The walls on the side or the glass can be used for delivering the ball back to the front wall. A player can score one point if:

• His or her opponent is hitting the ball to the tin ( sheet metal on the lower side of the front wall)
• or cannot hit the ball back to the front wall before its second bounce.

The main challenge is obviously that try to hit the ball in a way that our opponent will not be able to hit it back. If we can achieve this aim against more skilled opponents than we are on a right path to become advanced squash players.

Squash is a simple game. The general rules can be learned after a few minutes, after that we will be able to increase our skills in order to step up onto more and more sophisticated levels.

A játék lényegében nagyon egyszerű, néhány perc alatt el lehet sajátítani az alapokat, hogy aztán egy életen keresztül csiszolhassuk tudásunkat.

WARM UP

Before the players starts the game a warm up session for at least 5 minutes is recommended. There warm up session is important because of two main things: the first is to warm up the ball. When the ball is cold its bounces less effectively than when if its warmer. The other thing is to warm up the players themselves, in order to avoid injuries.

SERVING

The court is divided into two serving field by the red lines. The first serve is depends on the players or it can also be decided by the players with a game for the serve. One player cannot serve from the same serve field twice. There is only one chance for serving if a false serve occurs the opponent gets the point. Always that player serves who won the last point.

WINNING THE GAME

The game can be win only by the player who serving. The player who gets to 15 points first and his advantage is at least two points is winning the game. In this way, once the 20. th points achieved the rule of the gameball is cancelled and the next point decides the game.

WINNING THE MATCH

The match is won by the player who has three game victories.
